SHERWOOD, Ore. — The much-anticipated Sherwood Robin Hood Festival is right around the corner.

The all-volunteer Sherwood Robin Hood Festival Association (SRHFA) is excited to bring the 73rd annual festival to the Sherwood community and visitors from far and wide.

Make your plans to join us on Friday, July 17 from 5:00 to 10:00 p.m. Saturday, July 18 hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. A vendor village with 100+ booths, a food court, Main Stage and Family Stage entertainment, a beer/wine/and cider garden, a Medieval Village and Sherwood Village are amongst the many things to be enjoyed. The annual Robin Hood Festival, brought to you by Langer’s Entertainment Center, is one of the oldest and most unique festivals in Oregon.

Look for the July 2026 Robin Hood Festival Guide to assist in making your festival attending plans. Issues of the Guide will be available at our souvenir booth.

Volunteering can be fun

The Robin Hood Festival is 100% run by volunteers. We have over 300 volunteer spots that need to be filled for our Summer Festival including help with the parade barricades (Get a front row seat to the parade), with set-up and tear-down, selling souvenirs, helping in the beer garden, kids’ crafts, and the archery tournament, just to name a few!

All Summer volunteers will receive a $30 Bonus Bucks card from our Title Sponsor, Langer’s Entertainment Center. Go to robinhoodfestival.org/volunteers to sign up or reach out to us at robinhoodvolunteers@gmail.com if you would like more information on how you can help.

Community Parade

The theme this year is “Robin Hood Festival, The People’s Choice”. Set your
imagination free by wearing medieval style costumes and taking part in celebrating this honored tradition with your family friendly entries.

As always, our parade will honor our Grand Marshal. This year the Sherwood
Renaissance Singers, a group that has entertained at our annual festivals since the late 1990’s, accepted our invitation to be our 2026 Grand Marshal.

All who participate in the parade must apply by going to www.robinhoodfestival.org and locating the parade page. There you will find the fillable online application and detailed parade information. Early sign-ups are encouraged! If you have any questions please address them to robinhoodparade@gmail.com

Castle building contest

Creative Sherwood residents can, once again, bring their castle creations to Veterans’ Park on Saturday, July 18 from 7 to 9 a.m. They will be judged and category winners will be announced from the Family Stage during the day. All guidelines for castle entries can be found on our website and in the July 2026 Robin Hood Festival Guide.

Hidden Medallion Hunt is on

The 2026 Maid Marian court has another exciting adventure planned for those who are avid treasure seekers or those who are just starting. Clue #1 is available on our website and in the 2026 July Robin Hood Festival Guide.

Those wanting more information on aspects of our July festival and/or our organization, please visit robinhoodfestival.org, email robinhoodfestival@gmail.com or leave a message at 503-625-4233.
