SPONSORED: Volunteers are welcome year-round
By Robin Hood Festival Association for The Sherwood Sun
SHERWOOD, Ore. — The Sherwood Robin Hood Festival Association is in service to the Sherwood community year-round. Planning will soon begin for the annual Holiday Festival to be held on the first Saturday in December. We are thankful for all of the volunteers, sponsors, participants, and festival goers who made the summer festival a tremendous success. The planning for our summer festival is a year-round endeavor, and we encourage and welcome new volunteers to assist in planning creative enhancements to our festival.
If you would be interested in becoming involved in the planning of our annual festivals, now is a perfect time to do so. All are welcome to attend our monthly meetings that are held on the third Thursday of each month at 7 p.m. at the Sherwood Midday Masonic Lodge along Southwest Washington Street in Old Town Sherwood. The Sherwood Robin Hood Festival Association is an all-volunteer organization. Join us and become a part of continuing these Sherwood traditions that have contributed greatly to the Sherwood community for over seventy years.
Our next couple of meetings will be held on Thursday, September 17 and Thursday, October 15.
